Executive Director's Message

Dear UAMS Alumni and Friends,

We’re delighted to welcome you to the UAMS Alumni Association. Our network of distinguished health care professionals, more than 26,000 strong, spans the globe and reflects our shared commitment to better health today and into the future. Together, we share a bond with UAMS that no amount of distance will change.

Each of us has special memories of the friends we’ve made along the way, many of whom are fellow doctors, nurses, pharmacists and health professionals. The UAMS Alumni Association can help you stay connected to those friends and to the vast resources available here, from the faculty that guided you to our libraries, seminars, websites, social media and an extraordinary variety of alumni programs designed with you in mind. They are all designed to support you as you pursue your post-academic life and career. There is much the university can offer you throughout your life.

This is your alumni association – everything we do has you in mind.

Membership is free and takes effect the moment you graduate. We offer multiple ways for you to get involved and stay connected, whether it’s by volunteering for events, mentoring students, serving on one of our many advisory boards or giving societies, attending a Friends of UAMS event in your hometown, or taking advantage of our exclusive travel program. UAMS Connect helps you quickly find fellow UAMS grads out making a difference in the world. We can help you network and find employment opportunities. Our annual showcase event, Alumni Weekend, brings together hundreds of graduates each year from every college. We hope to see you there!

We love to catch up with our graduates. If you should find yourself in the area, please stop by the alumni office located on the first floor of the Central Building. Our Alumni Relations staff loves to visit and share the latest happenings on campus. Contact us with any questions or comments at alumni@uams.edu or 501-686-8200.

Sincerely,

Dean Lee, Ed.D.
